Thursday Night Feast teaches the beginning or experienced cook to prepare exotic recipes and familiar favorites utilizing fresh herbs and whole spices to achieve appealing low-fat healthy meals.
The Thursday Night Feast began as a cooking class taught by Sigrid Shepard in Berkley in 1969 and developed into the critically acclaimed underground classic cookbook published in 1976. Later re-published under the name Asian Food Feast in 1977, the Thursday Night Feast was developed by Sigrid to teach people the basic techniques of Asian cooking.

Over the next thirty years Sigrid has published numerous articles and columns, catered and starred in the Shaw cable television production “Sigrid Cooks” utilizing the “Thursday Night Feast” teaching style in cuisines from around the world. Through her experience Sigrid is continuously honing her Asian recipes and developing new natural foods fusion and western recipes. After years of requests Sigrid is releasing these recipes for sale as electronic books.
